Jenkins and cinematographer Matthew Jensen drew inspiration from a number of sources, which include a photograph of singer-songwriter James Blunt with coloured smoke within the history. Jenkins explained the graphic as symbolizing the “coloured-smoke point” she needed to examine.[141]
